Payment and deposit conditions
Rent is collected in advance on the last business day of each month. Weekly rent is calculated over a calendar month.
Bond/Deposit is approximately one month's rent + 20%.
Gas and Electricity bills are split between the tenants of each house. This averages £5 per month depending on the season.
£40 per person per six month contract is charged to cover the costs of Water Rates, TV Licence and rental of the payphone line and equipment.

COUNCIL TAX
This is included in the rent.

WHAT IS TAKEN OFF YOUR DEPOSIT AT THE END OF YOUR TENANCY?
Nothing is deducted, provided that the following are paid up in full:

  • A portion of any outstanding gas and electricity bills
  • Any extra payments due for water rates, TV license and payphone rental (if you stay longer than the 6 month contract)
  • A contribution of £25 per person per 6 month stay towards the cleaning of carpets and curtains in your room and communal areas.
